Complete Results (NCAA-NAIA combined)
SEASIDE, Calif. – The nationally ranked Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team shot a final round of 304 to win the Golf Mart/Lady Otter Invitational championship among NCAA schools today at Black Horse Golf Course. Senior #Cicilia Chudivan# was the individual medalist after finishing with an even-par 146 on the par-73 5,810-yard course.
“It was great to finally get a win on our home course,” said head coach #Teri Greene#. “The team has worked hard to reaching this goal.”
The Otters finished with 22-over-par 606 after carding a 302 on the first day. Against NCAA teams,
Sonoma State (619) came in second and Nebraska-Omaha (624) finished third.
Chudivan shot 1-under-par 72 after accumulating four birdies today. Junior #Darcy Lake# took second place after shooting a 36-hole total 150 on rounds of 74 and 76 to earn second place.
Sophomore #Courtney Soekland# shot identical scores of 77 on both days for a 154, good enough for seventh place. Senior #Leticia Halas# finished at 156 (77-79) to tie for 10th. Freshman #Melissa Conroy# tied for 31st with a 164.
The CSUMB Blue team finished in a strong sixth place, one spot back from Chico State, with a 56-over-par 640. Freshman #Lindsay Shoot# tied for 13th with a 157 and classmate #Gianna Waddy# tied for 15th with a 158. Junior #Caroline Clements# tied for 20th with a 160, while freshman #Sarah Crofcheck# carded a 168 and tied for 45th. Freshman #Jennifer Lung# rounded out the CSUMB golfers with a 175 for 55th place.
