SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team fell 17-10 to the Coyotes of Cal State San Bernardino in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at the Otter Baseball Field.
CSUMB finished with 18 hits which included four doubles while the Coyotes ended with 20 hits.
The highlight of the 3-hour, 48-minute game came in the last at-bat for the Otters when freshman #Alex Mangubat# hit his first collegiate home run, a blast over the left center wall.
Freshman designated hitter #Tyler Young# racked up three hits in four at-bats, including a 2 RBI double in the fifth inning. Freshman second baseman #Nolan Murray# also had three hits, recording two runs and two RBI.
The Otters travel to Cal Poly Pomona for a four-game series next weekend.
