Box Score

SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team saw its regular season come to end with a four-set loss to Chico State, 25-20, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-22.

Junior outside hitter #Rhean Fall# had a game-high 26 kills and 17 digs to record her sixteenth double-double of the season.  Junior outside hitter #Lauren Shacklock# racked up a .407 attack percentage with 14 kills on 27 attempts and three errors.  Junior middle/right side hitter #Melanie Lashbrook# added 10 kills and four blocks. Senior setter #Dana Grimm# dished out 31 assists.

Chico State was led by Jacqueline Johnson and Jessica Leek, who finished with 15 kills each.  Alex Shurtz added 10 kills and Sable Villaescusa racked up 46 assists.

The Otters achieved numerous milestones this year, including most conference wins (12-10) and most overall wins (15-10).  They knocked off three nationally ranked teams with the highest being No. 11 UC San Diego.  For the first time in program history, the volleyball squad was nationally ranked, achieving their highest being No. 21.
