ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The No. 21 Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end at Sonoma State on Saturday night, falling in three sets to the Seawolves.
The Otters drop to 10-2 overall and 7-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play while the Seawolves improved to 9-4, 6-3 in conference action.
Junior #Melanie Lashbrook# had a match-high eight kills and classmate #Lauren Shacklock# added seven kills. Junior #Tiffaney Riggs# recorded eight total blocks. The Otters recorded nine aces as a team with junior #Dionna Lucas# leading the way with four.
The Seawolves were led by Allyson Sather's 14 kills and Keala Peterson's 12 kills.
The Otters continue its month on the road on Friday, traveling to Chico State. First serve is at 7 p.m.
