Otters Fall 3-1 to Seattle Pacific

SEASIDE, Calif.
– The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team fell 3-1 to the Falcons of Seattle Pacific University on Tuesday afternoon in their home opener at the Otter Soccer Complex.

SPU took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Danny Brill's cross from the right side from the back of the net.  Christopher Morris was given the assist.  The Falcons added another goal in the 50th minute on Tyler Schultz's chip shot from the left side.

Senior #Nate Torricelli# scored the lone goal for the Otters off a penalty kick with 52:29 on the clock, making it 2-1.

SPU's Ryan Brand knocked in an insurance goal in the 61st minute on a pass by Alec Nelson.

Goalkeepers #Brenden Baca# and #Sam Campanelli# recorded two saves each in the contest. 

Next up for the Otters is a road game at Cal State East Bay on Friday, Sept. 11.  Game time is set for 3 p.m.
