Otters Edged, 2-1, at Chico State

Philip Wolny scores lone goal for CSUMB

CHICO – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team were edged, 2-1, on the road at Chico State on Friday afternoon.
 
The Wildcats raced out to a 2-0 lead, scoring in the 26th and 46th minutes before newcomer Philip Wolny scored in the 80th to put the Otters on the board.
 
CSUMB out-shot Chico State, 15-13, putting six on frame. Wolny led all players with four shots in his 84 minutes of action.
 
Jacob Aiona played the full 90-minutes in goal, making five saves.
 
The Otters will close out their regular season on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Cal Poly Humboldt.
