Fall Game Notes No. 2
UP NEXT: The CSUMB women's volleyball team travels to San Francisco to compete in the
California Clash on Sept 4-5. The Otters will open with a match against Hawai'i Pacifi c at 2
p.m., followed by Friday evening match with Chaminade University at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Sept
5, CSUMB will take on Dominican University at 11:30 a.m. and will close out the tournament
against Notre Dame de Namur at 7 p.m.
LOOKING AHEAD: The Otters begin CCAA play on Friday, Sept. 11, when they welcome the
Warriors of Cal State Stanislaus to the Otter Sports Center.
PAST WEEKEND: CSUMB hosted the Otter Classic on Aug. 29-30, dropping two hard-fought
matches to Dixie State College before being victorious in the tournament fi nale with a 3-1 win
over University of Findlay (OH). Senior 
Kerri Sudarsana led the Otters with 36 kills, with senior
Elizabeth Hanna recording a team-high six blocks and fi ve aces. Red-shirt freshman Monique
Sena dished out 87 assists along with 74 digs.
SOFTBALL CCAA BANNER CEREMONY: The 2009 CCAA Tournament Champions CSUMB
softball team will be honored by the unveiling of its championship banner on Friday, Sept 11
at the CSUMB-Stanislaus volleyball match. This was the first CCAA championship in
CSUMB history.
CHASING 1,000: #Katie Bos# is 52 digs away from 1,000 for her career. The senior should
surpass the milestone before the CCAA season even begins and is ranked second in the
CSUMB record books for digs behind Brittany Etchings (1,304 from 2004-07).
