SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team fell in its final home match of the season to No. 2 UC San Diego, 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-21).

The Otters dropped to 12-18 overall and 6-14 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action while the Tritons improved to 26-2, 18-2 in conference play.

Sophomore #Rheann Fall# led the team with nine kills and 10 digs.  Senior #Alisha Thomas# recorded eight kills and four aces while senior libero #Katie Bos# tallied 12 digs.

UCSD were led by freshman Julia Freidenberg's 13 kills and senior Roxanne Brunsting's 11 kills.

Prior to the game, the Otter squad held a short ceremony celebrating their four seniors; #Katie Bos#, #Kerri Sudarsana#, #Alisha Thomas# and #Elizabeth Hanna#.

The Otters wraps up their 2009 season next weekend as they take on Cal Poly Pomona on Friday, Nov. 13 followed by a match-up against No. 3 Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Nov. 14.
