SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team fell in three sets to No. 2 Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday night in its season finale.
Sophomore #Rheann Fall# led the Otters with 13 kills and a .462 attack percentage. Senior libero #Katie Boz# nabbed 14 digs and senior #Alisha Thomas# added nine digs. Freshman #Monique Sena# and junior #Dana Grimm# dished out 14 and 12 assists respectively.
The Coyotes were led by junior Jane Chafeh with 19 kills and eight digs. Sophomore Morgan Carty finished with eight kills and 13 digs.
The Otters finished the 2009 season with a 13-19 overall record, while going 7-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play.
