Fall/Winter Game Notes No. 10



UP NEXT:  The Otters close out their 2009 campaign with two final home games this weekend.  CSUMB welcomes Cal State Stanislaus on Friday, Oct. 30. On Sunday, Nov. 1, the Otters take on Chico State and will recognize the seniors in a special pre-game ceremony.

GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS: Friday's match against Cal State Stanislaus has been tabbed as “Kick for a Cure” night.  CSUMB will be accepting donations for admission in to the game with all proceeds being donated to the Breast Cancer Assistance Group of the Monterey Peninsula.

PAST WEEKEND: CSUMB defeated San Francisco State 3-2 on Friday, Oct. 23 at the Otter Soccer Complex.  The Otters then fell to the Gators on Sunday, Oct. 25 in a 2-1 overtime decision.

THE WARRIORS: Cal State Stanislaus (10-6-1, 7-6-1 CCAA) is in second place in the CCAA standings and are now ranked No. 9 in the regional polls with victories over Humboldt State and Sonoma State this past weekend.

THE WILDCATS: Chico State (7-7-4, 4-6-4 CCAA) has not won a game in its last six contests, recording two double-overtime ties and four one-goal losses.
