CHICO, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Wildcats of Chico State on Friday night at University Soccer Stadium.
The Wildcats got on the board in the 29th minute when Chris Akwaja scored on a pass from Tyson Crim. Chico State added two more goals before the end of the half, coming from Kevin Gibson and Luis Martinez.
Senior goalkeeper #Brenden Baca# nabbed four saves while seniors #Nate Torricelli# and #Eric Alsop# recorded CSUMB's two shots on goal.
Next up for the Otters is a match-up against Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday, Oct. 4 in Turlock. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
