SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team fell in a five-set match to Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday evening at the Otter Sports Center. The final scores were 17-25, 25-12, 25-22, 22-25, 16-14.
The Otters fell to 7-12 overall and 2-9 in CCAA action while the Broncos improved 8-10, 5-6 in conference.
Sophomore #Rheann Fall# racked up a double-double with 19 kills and 18 digs with sophomore #Lauren Shacklock# adding 14 kills. Freshman #Monique Sena# dished out 35 assists and senior #Katie Bos# notched 28 digs.
The Broncos were led by Courtney Alberi with 16 kills and Elizabeth Diaz with 15 kills.
CSUMB hits the road next weekend, traveling to Chico State on Friday, Oct. 16.
