SEATTLE, Wash. - The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team (0-0-1) began the 2008 season with a 0-0 tie against Seattle Pacific University on Aug. 28.
The Otters got tremendous play from junior goalkeeper #Brendan Baca# who faced 18 shots, stopping the Falcons from scoring in the 200-plus minutes.
CSUMB nabbed strong performances from Seattle-born #Juan Murillo# and #Nate Torricelli# in the midfield.
The Otter's (0-0-1, 0-0 CCAA) Pacific West road trip continues as they travel to Bellingham, Wash. to take on Western Washington University on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
