POMONA, Calif. --- Trailing 4-3, Cal Poly Pomona scored three in the bottom of the seventh and five more in the eighth to defeat Cal State Monterey Bay 11-4 on Sunday at Scolinos Field, taking the series 3-1.

The two teams matched each other run for run early on. The Otters scored two in the second when Jayson Furia (3-4 with 2 RBIs) hit an RBI-double to knock in #Matt DeJesus# (3-3 with 2 runs) and then scored himself on a passed ball.

But Pomona scored two in the bottom of the inning off CSUMB starter #Patrick McCLain# (6.1IP, 9H, 6R). When DeJesus singled to drive in #Matt Rall# in the third, Pomona scored again in the bottom of the inning.
