ROHNERT PARK, Calif. --- Hitting just 31.4 percent of their shots, Cal State Monterey Bay fell to Sonoma State 67-40 on the road. The loss drops the women's basketball team to 2-21 and 1-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
#Dana Andrews#, was averaging 19.2 points per game before the road trip, scored six points. #Britnea Moore# came off the bench to lead the team with 11. She hit 4 of 8 from the floor. Andrews and point guard #Alma Lopez# shot a combined 2 for 18 and 1 of 14 from the three-point line. #Krista Herr# grabbed 12 rebounds and scored six with three shots.
Sonoma State (17-6, 11-5) was led by Genny Anderson and Chelsey Armacost, who each scored 13. The Otters remain on the road next week with games against CSU Dominguez Hills and CSU Los Angeles.
