LA JOLLA, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 16 UC San Diego at RIMAC Arena, 25-17, 25-13, 25-21.
CSUMB drops to 7-17 and 3-11 in the CCAA with the loss, while UCSD improves to 17-4 (11-3 CCAA).
Freshman #Tiffaney Riggs# led the Otters with six kills and a .312 clip. Junior #Alisha Thomas# also notched six kills for CSUMB. Junior #Elizabeth Hanna# added five blocks.
The Titans were led by senior Rebecca Bailey with 14 kills and a .387 clip.
The Otters wrap-up their seven game road trip in their final non-conference match, taking on Notre Dame de Namur University on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
