Tyvette White will look to make her mark as an Otter freshman after earning All–Hacienda League honors at Pomona’s Diamond Ranch High School…helped lead the Panthers to the 2012 CIF Southern Section Division 3AA semifinals…averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game as a senior for the Panthers…scored in double figures 16 times as a senior…highs games of 17 points and 10 rebounds both came in a Jan. 11, 2012 win over Los Altos…passed for a high of six assists in an season–opening win over Flintridge Prep…earned team captain, most improved and most inspirational recognition at DRHS…selected to play in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune vs. Pasadena Star News All–Star game…played her travel ball with West Coast Premier…also played volleyball and ran track.

White is majoring in human communications at CSUMB with a minor in psychology…plans a career in broadcasting…answers to the nicknames Tee Tee and Ty…earned the Teachers Choice Award and was an honor roll member in high school…lists singing, swimming and making people laugh among her hobbies…parents are Yvette and Tyrrell White.
