As a Junior in 2009-10: Started in 26 games...scored 16 points and dished out six assists in season opener at Western Oregon (11/20)...named Western Oregon Tournament MVP after averaging 9.5 points per game, making 7-of-11 (.636) from the field and shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc in the two wins...recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds at Cal State San Bernardino (2/26).

As a Sophomore in 2008-09 at Ventura College: All-Conference first team selection…named to All-State first team…averaged 9.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game…recorded a team-high 137 assists and 77 steals…led team to a Western State Conference Championship…WBCA Junior College All-American...played with Otter teammate Julie Heurung.

As a Freshman in 2007-08 at Ventura College: All-Conference first team selection…received the Warrior Award…averaged 7.9 points and 5.6 rebound per game…recorded a team-high 102 steals…played with Otter teammate Lindsay Trout and Julie Heurung.

High School: Selected varsity MVP her freshman and senior year…three-time team Defensive Player of the Year…three-time All-League first team selection.

Personal: Daughter of Miguel Santizo…has four siblings, Nabela, Michael, Aidan and Christina…majoring in Kinesiology.

Why I Chose CSUMB: To further my education and athletic career. The dedication and support that the community shows made my decision much easier. I wanted to be pushed physically and mentally to achieve my goals on and off the court.
