Biography
As a Junior in 2008-09: Played in 25 games, making 14 starts…averaged 5.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game…second on team in assists (53)...dished out a season-best six assists against Sonoma State on Jan. 2…most outstanding game came on Oct. 29 against Academy of Art, scoring 14 points by going 4-for-6 beyond the arc and 2-for-2 at free throw line…pull down a season high six rebound, three from offensive boards.
As a Sophomore in 2007-08 at Delta Junior College: Selected Big 7 All-Conference honorable mention...named team Best Defensive Player.
As a Freshman in 2006-07 at Delta Junior College: Played in 27 games…finished the season with 47 rebounds and nine assists.
High School: Selected Most Inspirational her junior and senior year…named Most Improved Player her sophomore year.
Personal: Daughter of Ruben and Margret Baker…has two siblings, Josef and Cesilee…majoring in Collaborative Health and Human Services.
Why I Chose CSUMB: Because it was the school that gave me an opportunity for success. CSUMB offers a CHHS major,it not only sets me up for a career, but also for my future when I graduate. Plus, CSUMB is close to the beach and who doesn't love the beach?!
