Daye Turner redshirted his first season with the Otters due to transfer regulations.

2011 – Cal State Stanislaus
Turner began his collegiate career by redshirting at CCAA rival Cal State Stanislaus in 2011…he did not see action as a Warrior.

High School
Turner was an All–Pioneer League performer at Compton’s Centennial High School, where he led the Apache to a 10–0 league mark, a 28–8 overall record and a berth in the CIF Southern Section Division 3A championship game…also lettered in baseball and football at CHS…led the Pioneer League in stolen bases as a junior in 2009…played AAU ball with the L.A. City Wildcats…earned several all–tournament awards.

Personal
Turner is majoring in sociology at CSUMB…would like to work as a basketball coach and social worker when his playing days are over…served three years in the U.S. Army after leaving Stanislaus…cousin Deonta Burton is a senior on the men’s basketball team at Nevada…given name is David.
