After spending the last two seasons as a full–time assistant at NCAA Division III power UT–Dallas,
Natalie Marlowe will take her place on the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball bench as the top lieutenant for Head Coach
CJ Pace for the 2018–19 season.
A 2018 graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy and a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association 30 Under 30 list, Marlowe accomplished much in her two seasons at UT–Dallas. Not only did the Comets boast the American Southwest Conference East Division players of the year for 2017 and 2018, Marlowe helped them earn nine All–ASC mentions, two All–South Region awards and an All–America nod for Alyssa Crockett.
The South Milwaukee, Wisc. native came to UTD after serving as the strength and conditioning coordinator and point guards coach at NCAA Division I member Incarnate Word. Prior to that, she spent three seasons as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Hendrix College in Arkansas.
As a student–athlete, Marlowe was a 4–year starter at Chicago State, where she was a 3–time All–Great West Conference selection. She led the Cougars to the GWC title as a junior in 2011. Her 151 assists that season still rank No. 2 all–time in the CSU single–season record book.
She ended her playing career ranked second all–time at CSU in assists with 396.
Marlowe earned her bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in public relations from Chicago State in 2012. Her master's degree in sports management at Incarnate Word is in progress.
