Megan Hankins

Cal State Monterey Bay welcomes Megan Hankins as the newest member to the Women’s Basketball Staff.

Hankins most recently served as the Video Exchange Coordinator for the University of San Francisco for two years. Prior to that, she was the assistant coach for the College of San Mateo for three years where she worked with the posts as well as assisted in scouting, recruiting and game day operations. During her third season with the Bulldogs, the team went to playoffs for the first time in six years.

Coach Hankins is a native to Pasadena, Ca but decided to go north to Notre Dame de Namur University where she played for our Associate Athletic Director Stephanie Duke, for three years. During her senior season, she held the record for the most rebounds in a single season and received the Argonaunt Award, which is given to the hardest worker that goes above and beyond for her team.

Hankins graduated from NDNU in 2003 with a BA in Psychology and then with her Masters in 2006 in Clinical Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy.
