Santa Ana College
Ashley Whisler is one of two new Otters (Jazmine Johnson) who helped lead a resurgence at Santa Ana College over the past two seasons… Whisler earned third team all–state and first team All–Orange Empire League honors while leading the Dons to the second round of the CCCAA Southern California Tournament…led the Orange Empire Conference by averaging 20.5 points per game…also led the OEC by shooting 91.7 percent from the free–throw line and finished fourth in the conference by averaging 2.0 steals per game…scored in double figures in 28 of 30 games, reaching the 30–point level 5 times and the 20–point mark 16 times…matched her high game of 35 points in a regular season win versus Fullerton College (Jan. 31) and in a playoff win over Cerritos College (Feb. 26)…went 16–for–16 from the line as part of a 31–point effort in a win over Merced College (Dec. 6)…passed a career–high eight assists in a season–opening win over Santa Monica (Nov. 7)…swiped a career–high seven steals at College of the Sequoias (Nov. 23).

High School
Was the top 3–point and free–throw shooter by percentage while leading Corona’s Centennial High School to 21 wins as a senior in 2012…lettered three–times at CHS, helping the Huskies win at least 20 games in all three seasons.

Personal
Whisler is majoring in psychology at CSUMB…career goal is to be a psychologist…parents are Daniel and Damaris Whisler.
