CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

2013–14 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Nikki Beckman was off to a sizzling start to her junior campaign before a knee injury derailed her in her eighth game…scored in double figures in five of eight games, matching her career high of 19 at Cal State East Bay (Dec. 14)…enters the season with 112 career assists, good for No. 9 in the Otter record book…has passed for at least one assist in all 37 games as an Otter…dished a career–high seven assists in the game at East Bay (Dec. 14).

2012–13 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Beckman made an immediate impact in her first Otter campaign and earned CCAA Newcomer of the Year recognition for her efforts…is CSUMB’s top returning player in terms of scoring (6.2 ppg), assists (79) and steals (31)…the 79 assists rank No. 8 on the CSUMB single–season list…started all 29 games and scored in 28…reached double figures six times, including a season–high 19 points in a win at Sonoma State (Nov. 30)…grabbed a season–high six steals in a win over Shepherd University (Nov. 17)…season–high six rebounds came in a win at Chico State (Jan. 25)…passed for at least one assist in all 29 games, matching her season high of five at Cal Poly Pomona (Feb. 16) and vs. Chico State (Mar. 1).

Ohlone College
Beckman led Ohlone College to its fourth consecutive Coast Conference South Division title in 2012…took the Renegades to the California JuCo Sweet 16 as a first team All–Coast Conference selection…named all–tournament at the Mike Gervasoni Tournament…averaged 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Dublin High School
Beckman was a four–time All–Diablo Foothill Athletic League selection at Dublin High School… earned second team honors as a junior in 2009 when she led the Gaels to the DFAL title and a berth in the CIF North Coast Section Division III championship game…in all, she led Dublin to four NCS Division III semifinal appearances…named all–tournament at the West Coast Jamboree three times…led the Gaels at 6.3 assists and 5.2 steals per game her senior season…passed the 1,000–point plateau for her prep career…in addition to playing basketball, Beckman was an All–DFAL pick in softball and a CIF NCS qualifier in track.

Personal
Beckman is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…her aunt, Denise Philbrick, won an NCAA Golf title at San Jose State and played on the LPGA Tour…earned the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma…lists wakeboarding and surfing among her hobbies…parents are Kellie and Paul Beckman.
