Vince Inglima


Vince Inglima begins his third season as assistant coach for the Otters this winter.

Inglima is involved in all aspects of the men’s basketball program, including recruiting, strength and conditioning, and travel.

Before being named to the coaching staff at CSUMB, Inglima played professionally in Australia for the Dandenong Rangers. He led his team to the grand final in his first of four seasons in Australia’s second division. In 2010, Inglima coached the Rangers U-18 team to the title in the National Junior Club Championships.

Inglima graduated magna cum laude from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. In his senior season, the Seawolves won the CCAA for the first time in school history. Along the way, Inglima earned CCAA Male Athlete of the Year, All-WestRegion, and All-American honors. He still holds the school record for career 3-point percentage (44.6) and is second in free throw percentage (82.5). Inglima was an Academic All-American, and was awarded Academic All-District by ESPN The Magazine. He was inducted into the Sonoma State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.

After graduating from Carson High School (Carson City, Nev.) in 2002, Inglima attended Cabrillo College for two years before moving on to Sonoma State.

Inglima and his wife Jessica reside in Santa Cruz.
