High School: All-West Yosemite League first team selection…All-County first team…All-CIF Central Section second team…supported a 3.29 ERA with 54 strike outs and 31 walks in 44.2 innings for a single season team record of six wins his senior year…batted .367 with a team-high 20 RBIs.
 
Personal: Son of Greg and Ana Borboa…has one younger brother, Evan…majoring in psychology.
