What is your favorite part about being on the Otter Dance Team?:
The practices are a time during the week when I can set aside everything else that's going on in my life and focus solely on dance. With homework, classes, jobs, clubs, and other responsibilities, life can get overwhelming at times.  Dance is such a therapeutic, uplifting escape from all of that.

What is your favorite thing about CSUMB?
I most value the small class sizes because they allow students the opportunity to get to know their professors.  With that familiarity, students are held accountable and achievement is enhanced.  Also, you can't beat the ocean view!

What is something most students do not know about the Otter Dance Team?
A common misconception about members of the team is that we all dedicate our lives solely to dance. While we would probably love to do so, the fact is that we only practice twice a week and have a whole barrage of other activities we are involved in.  We are first and foremost, diligent students taking our education seriously and developing career goals.  Most of us work multiple jobs and take part in other clubs and activities.  We're apart of this team to indulge in a hobby we share, but it does not consume our lives.


What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family.  I love being spontaneous!

What is something most people do not know about you?
I was born in Florida and moved several times growing up!

What are some of your goals for the next 3-5 years?
Academically, I am striving for a 4.0 GPA for the rest of my semesters at CSUMB.  I recognize how precious my education is and I hope to gain as much knowledge from my business courses as I can.  A strong foundation will greatly assist me when I launch into the hospitality industry, specifically hotel management, after graduation.
