As a Sophomore in 2012 at Fresno State: Made two appearances…in 2.1 innings, struck out one batter while giving up two hits and one run. 
 
As a Freshman in 2011 at Fresno State: Made eight appearances…finished with a 4.91 ERA… faced a career-high seven batters twice; against Cal Poly (3/1) and New Mexico State (5/12).

High School: Lettered two years in baseball…played first base and pitched…helped lead his team to an overall mark of 20-8 in his senior season…named East Bay Athletic League Pitcher of the Year in 2010 ... had a 10-2 record on the mound…tallied five complete games and 75 strikeouts…had an ERA of 2.17…38th round draft pick of Tampa Bay Rays.

Personal: Son of John and Norma Anderson ... has an older brother, John, who plays in the Toronto Blue Jays’ organization…majoring in Social Behavioral Science.
