CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

As a Junior in 2012: CCAA All-Academic team selection…appeared in 12 games with a 2.57 ERA over 21.0 innings with eight walks, 10 strikeouts and 23 hits…held opponents scoreless in his final four appearances (9.0 innings)…threw 2.2 innings in CSUMB’s 6-5 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills (4/22). 

As a Sophomore in 2011:  No. 2 starter in the rotation for the Otters...threw a CSUMB record 106 ground-outs over 66.1 innings with 15 strikeouts...best outing came at No. 10 Cal State L.A. (Apr 9), allowed five hits and  only one earned run while striking out three batters in 5.2 innings...picked up a win over top-nationally ranked UC San Diego (Feb. 27) in 7.0 innings of work.  

As a Freshman in 2010: Pitched in 10 games during his freshman season, including one start…struck out eight batters and gave up one earned run in his collegiate debut as a starter against Academy of Art (3/4).

High School:  Attended Simi Valley High School...earned the Defensive Player of the Year award... CIF Southern Section DIV I Champions...competed with the club team the Eaters...earned three time Academic Excellence Award...SVHS Renaissance...three time Scholar Athlete...three time Academic Letter winner.

Personal: Son of Dan and Kathy…has one sister, Briana…majoring in Kinesiology and Education.
