As a Junior in 2011: Redshirt
 
As a Sophomore in 2010 at San Jose City College: Ranked third on the team in batting average with a .307 with 27 hits including three doubles and five home runs…knocked in 20 runs while crossing the plate 18 times…finished with a second team-high .511 slugging percentage.
 
As a Freshman in 2009 at San Jose City College: Started in 35 of his 38 games…batted .248 with 32 hits and 28 RBIs…had five doubles and five home runs for a .403 slugging percentage…was 2-for-2 on stolen bases…registered 21 runs.
 
High School: All-Mount Hamilton first team selection…All-CIF Central Coast Section Division III second team honoree…in his senior year, batted .390 with 18 runs, 30 hits, 27 RBI, four doubles and nine home runs…led team to a league championship his junior year.
 
Personal: Son of Lou and Maryann Valletta…has two older sisters, Nicole and Ashlee.
