Biography

As a Freshman in 2012: CCAA All-Academic…appeared in 14 games, with six starts as designated hitter and two at catcher in his rookie campaign…was successful in advancing runners 65 percent of the time…registered two RBIs and two hits, including a double, against Fresno Pacific (2/21)…scored the winning run in the 16-inning victory over Central Washington (2/26). 

High School: Selected Ocean Athletic League MVP and first team his junior year...led his team to a OAL championship in 2010 after batting .326 with 30 runs and 30 RBIs…also posted nine doubles, a triple and a home run…named to honor roll all four years.
 
Personal: Son of Chris and Cathy Gemgnani…no siblings…his father, Chris, played football at Gettysburg College...majoring in Kinesiology.
