As a Junior in 2012: American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-West first team…Daktronics All-West Region second team…All-CCAA second team selection… CCAA All-Academic team…hit .317 over 49 starts with 21 runs and 58 hits with a team-leading 40 RBIs…had 15 multi-hit games and tied with classmate Jason Merjano with 11 multi-RBI games…hit the program’s first road grand slam at Cal State East Bay (4/2)…walk-off single against San Francisco State (4/14)…achieved the third-longest hitting streak of the season twice with eight (Feb. 18-26; April 7-21)…hit .304 with runners in scoring position…hit .733 (11-for-15) with eight RBIs, three doubles, three runs and a home run in the Cal State East Bay series…had two 4-hit games, at Cal State East Bay (4/2) and at San Francisco State (4/15)…three hits including two doubles at Cal Poly Pomona (2/19)…ranks No. 1 in the CSUMB record books in career and single season with eight sacrifice flies…No. 2 in the single season record books for RBIs (40).

As a Sophomore in 2011 at Mission College: Batted .311 with 37 hits, 28 runs and 16 RBIs…had 10 doubles, three triples and three home runs. 
 
As a Freshman in 2010 at San Jose City College: Led the Jaguars to the Super Regionals with his 36 hits including six doubles and five home runs…also accumulated 37 runs while driving in 20 runs.
 
High School: Led team to two CIF Central Coast Section Division I championships…2009 Mercury-News All-County second baseman…Four-time West Coast All-League selection with two first team honors.
 
Personal:  Son of Carlos and Rosa Garcia…has two brothers; Carlos Jr and BuBu…majoring in Kinesiology.
