High School: Four-year letterman in baseball and cross country…three-time All-Cowapa League first team selection…All-State first team senior year…All-State second team junior year…posted a 1.16 ERA in 76 innings for a 10-3 record and 130 strike outs.
 
Personal: Son of Rick and Karen Neifert…has an older brother, Ben…majoring in Social Behavioral Science.
