CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

2012–13 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Ashley Morgan proved to be one of the Otters’ most valuable reserves in her first season, averaging more than 19 minutes per game in 27 appearances…pulled down a season–high 12 rebounds in just her second CSUMB game, at San Francisco State (Dec. 1)…posted her first double–double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Cal State Dominguez Hills (Jan. 4)…averaged 4.7 rpg, No. 2 among returning players.

Santa Rosa College
Ashley Morgan brought her winning ways to the Otters after a two–year career at state power Santa Rosa JC…helped lead the Bear Cubs to the California Junior College title in 2011 as well as back–to–back Big 8 Conference championships…posted a nice all–around statline of  7.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a sophomore, earning All–Big 8 Conference honors in the process…had an 18–point, 12–rebound double–double in the 2012 Big 8 title–clinching win over Cosumnes River College.

High School
Morgan played high school ball for the Pumas of Carrillo High School…led Carrillo to the third round of the CIF North Coast Section Division II playoffs as a senior…was a first team All–NBL selection…played her AAU ball with the Gym Rat Ballers…also has played volleyball, soccer and baseball.

Personal
Morgan is majoring in social and behavioral science at CSUMB…was a two–time Academic All–Big 8 pick at Santa Rosa…once worked at a paint ball/laser tag company…enjoys spending time with her dogs…father, David, played football at Sonoma State and bother, Jordan, played football at Santa Rosa JC…parents are Jenny and David Morgan.
