Biography
2013 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Injuries kept Dammond Rogers off the court through the first half of the season, but he came on late and started 12 of the final 13 games…scored in 12 of his 19 appearances, including a career–high eight points at Chico State (Jan. 25)…matched his career high of four assists in consecutive games vs. Sonoma State (Feb. 2) and Cal State L.A. (Feb. 8)…grabbed a career–high five rebounds against Cal State San Bernardino (Jan. 19).
2012 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Rogers joined the Otters as a walk–on late in season and earned a spot on the 2013 roster with his effort…appeared in five games…scored his first collegiate points with a pair of free throws against Cal Poly Pomona (Feb. 10)…first field goal and first assist came the following game against Cal State East Bay (Feb. 14).
High School
Rogers prepped at Inglewood High School where he led the Sentinels to the CIF Southern Section Division III finals and a CIF State Quarterfinal berth…earned second team all–league honors for the 2011 Ocean League champions…played travel ball with ICan All Stars Elite.
Personal
Rogers is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…career goal is to become an athletic trainer…parents are Gwen Rogers and Donnel Robinson, Sr.
