Kayla Patton joins the Otter frontline line after leading Sierra College to 21 wins and a regional semifinal appearance in 2012…earned All–Big 8 Conference honors for her efforts…finished 10^th in the conference in scoring, averaging 10.9 points per game with a high of 24…named the Wolverine team MVP for 2012 and defensive MVP in 2010 and 2012.

High School
Patton prepped at Highlands High School where she led the Scots in scoring as a senior by averaging 14.6 points per game…scored in double figures 21 times that season, matching her high of 27 in consecutive wins over San Juan and Marysville…added 11 rebounds in the win over San Juan for her first double–double…was a three–time All–Golden Empire League selection, earning league MVP honors as a senior while leading the Scots to the league title…played travel ball with Just Believe Sports and Nor Cal Elite…was team MVP and an All–GEL golfer at Highlands.

Personal
Patton will major in social and behavioral science at CSUMB…graduated from high school with a 3.85 grade point average…plans to attend the police academy after graduating…long term goal is to work for the FBI…answers to the nickname La La…parents are Alicia Gee and Steven Patton.
