Ventura College
Rebecca Griffin will bring a winning pedigree to the Otter program after earning team MVP honors for Head Coach Ned Mircetic and perennially powerful Ventura College in 2012…helped the Pirates run their Western State Conference title streak to 22 seasons by earning first team All–WSC honors in 2011 and 2012…second team All–California junior college as a sophomore…earned all–tournament honors for leading Ventura to the 2012 California JuCo Final Four…averaged 11.5 points and a team–best 3.4 assists per game as a sophomore…led the Pirates by averaging 15.6 points per game as a freshman in 2011.

High School
Griffin was an accomplished prep star at Santa Barbara High School…team MVP as a junior and senior…first team All–Channel League and second team All–CIF Southern Section Division III in 2010…led the Dons as a senior by averaging 19.8 points and 2.8 steals per game…helped the Dons reach the CIF Southern Section Division 3AAA Tournament in 2009 and 2010…played her travel ball with the Santa Barbara Blazers.

Personal
Griffin is majoring in liberal studies at CSUMB…career goal is to teach at the elementary school level…was an Academic All–WSC selection at Ventura College and a Distinguished Don at SBHS…is the daughter of Brigitte and Emmitt Griffin.
