2011 – 12 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Jessica Fontenette continued her development into one of the CCAA’s top guards, essentially doubling her career bests in points (238), rebounds (116) and assists (84) as a junior…caught fire with the season on the line, scoring in double figures in four of her last five games…scored a career–high 15 points in the CCAA Tournament championship game win over Cal State L.A. (Mar. 3)…came back six days later to score 15 points with a career–high five steals in an NCAA Tournament game against Western Washington (Mar. 9)…led team in assists 15 times, including a career–high seven in a CCAA Tournament semifinal win over Chico State (Mar. 2)…her 962 minutes played rank No. 2 on the CSUMB single–season list…55 steals rank No. 5 on that list while 84 assists rank No. 6…enters her senior season ranked in the CSUMB career top 10 in: Games Played (4^th, 85); Minutes (4^th, 1,808); Steals (5^th, 108); Assists (T–6^th 134); Blocked Shots (7^th, 23); Free Throws Made (9^th, 100) and Attempted (9^th, 141).

2010–11 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Fontenette appeared in 28 games, starting 14 of the final 15…averaged 4.0 points and 1.4 assists per game…scored a season–high 12 points and dished out four assists against Sonoma State (Mar. 1)…recorded 12 points and a season–high five steal to help the Otters win their first NCAA Tournament game, 68–59 victory over Dixie State (Mar. 11).

2009–10 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Fontenette appeared in all 27 games off the bench as a freshman…scored a season–high five points and passed out two assists against Dominican (Dec. 28)…grabbed three rebounds at Cal State East Bay (Jan. 16).

High School
Fontenette led the Lancers of Bishop Amat to consecutive Del Rey League titles as a junior and senior…a second team All–DRL pick as a senior.

Personal
Fontenette is majoring in visual design and digital animation at CSUMB…earned CCAA All–Academic honors with a 3.41 GPA in 2011–12…named a Toyota Scholar–Athlete in high school…daughter of Jesse and Lynn Fontenette…has one older brother, Jason.
