As a Junior in 2011 at Cal Poly SLO: Saw limited action as a Mustang…pitched two innings at Oklahoma State, gave up one hit and struck out a batter.
 
As a Sophomore in 2010 at San Jose City College: Coast Golden Gate All-Conference Pitcher of the Year…Northern California All-State Pitcher…Santa Clara Hot Stove Junior College Pitcher of the Year…Pre Season All-American.
 
As a Freshman in 2009 at San Jose City College: All-Coast Conference Golden Gate Division first-team…posted an 8-1 record…2.37 ERA with 62 strikeouts in 83.2 innings…held opponents to just .194 batting average… started in 11 games, appeared in relief in three others and earned one complete game.
 
High School: Two-time All-Blossom Valley Athletic League first team selection…Team MVP…was 8-5 with a 1.97 ERA as a senior with five complete games…77 strikeouts in 74 2/3 innings…threw a three-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts against Piedmont Hills…also played was a shortstop…selected Pioneer High School All-Around Athlete of the Year his senior year….was a three-year letterman in football.
 
Personal: Son of Ric and Staycee Medlinger… has one younger brother, Matthew…two-time Pop Warner National Champion with the Oak Grove Rage (2001) and Oak Grove Red Dawgs (2002).
