As a Junior in 2011: Redshirt
 
As a Sophomore in 2010 at San Jose City College: Appeared in 21 games, the submariner had a 2.79 ERA in 29.0 innings with 17 strikeouts and six walks…gave up 22 hits.
 
As a Freshman in 2009 at San Jose City College: Came out of the bullpen for 24 games, going 5-0 with a 1.33 ERA over 27.0 innings with 13 strikeouts and 13 walks…gave up on four earned runs on 25 hits.
 
High School: Did not play for his high school team…played travel ball for the Menlo Park Legends under the direction of David Klein…won the conference regular season his senior year.
 
Personal: Son of Harold and Shelley Zosel…has one younger sister, Danielle…majoring in Social & Behavioral Science.
