As a Junior in 2011: Made statistical improvements with a single season career high assists (22). Was 5-5 at five-meter shots making nearly half the teams total (12). Had four goals and three drawn kick outs against Cal State Bakersfield at the Roadrunner Invite on March 26.
As a Sophomore in 2010: Appeared in all 32 games..lead the team in total goals...had two assists and three goals against UC Santa Cruz (4/2).
As a Freshman in 2009: Scored two goals against Cal State East Bay (4/4)...
High School: Named Offensive player of the year her junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Debbie Sowul..has a younger brother, Joe.

If I wasn’t a water polo player, I would be… A scientist or musician.
When did you become interested in water polo? My love of water came from a family-friend who played water polo inspired me to try it when I was 11 years old. My parents and brother are my biggest support and inspire me to keep playing.
