As a Junior in 2011:  Team’s primary starting left fielder made 27 starts in 2011…finished with a team-best .403 batting average…led the Otters in on base percentage with .435…made the lineup card 34 times with 17 runs and 16 RBIs…also had nine doubles…perfect on the base path (3-for-3)…hit a walk-off single in the 10th to give the Otters an 11-10 victory over Cal State Stanislaus (3/27). 
 
As a Sophomore in 2010 at Los Angeles Harbor College: Named All-South Coast Conference first team…selected Team MVP…batted .413 with 45 hits including nine doubles…drove in 15 runs while crossing the plate 24 times…notched four stolen bases.
 
As a Freshman in 2009 at Los Angeles Harbor College: Selected Team Defensive Player of the Year...batted .333 with 36 hits and 19 runs…finished with 18 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
 
High School: All-Pioneer League MVP and first team selection…selected Team MVP and Best Offensive Player…received blanket award.
 
Personal: Son of James and Wendy DeCastro…has three sisters, Jaymie, Danielle and Devyn…cousin Lauren is a pitcher for the Austin Peay Governors…majoring in business administration.
