CSUMB Teams With FanWord To Enhance Storytelling and Efficiency

Otters to employ industry-leading tech in a variety of areas

SEASIDE, Calif. — Known for its innovation, diversity, and deep connection to its coastal community, Cal State Monterey Bay Athletics is taking a bold step forward in its storytelling efforts. The Otters are partnering with FanWord, one of the leading AI technology and storytelling companies in college sports, to integrate FanWord Assist—an AI-powered platform designed to help programs streamline and scale their written content creation.

Through this collaboration, CSUMB gains access to a powerful storytelling solution that empowers its communications team to produce high-quality content more efficiently, including game recaps, player bios, and feature stories. By pairing its student-focused mission with FanWord's cutting-edge technology, CSUMB is doubling down on its commitment to amplifying the voices of its student-athletes, coaches, and alumni.
