Give Today! 2025 Day of Giving to Support Student-Athletes

#OttersGive is a 24-hour online fundraising event in support of current and future Otters

March 11, 2025

SEASIDE, Calif. – Cal State Monterey Bay Athletics is calling on families, fans, alumni, and supporters to make a lasting impact during the 2025 CSUMB Day of Giving—a special opportunity to directly support Otter student-athletes and their pursuit of excellence.  Budget reductions continue to challenge universities and athletics programs across the Cal State system, making community support more crucial than ever.

Every donor will have the opportunity to designate their gift to the sport of their choice, ensuring that each program has the resources needed to train, compete, and succeed.

Contributions will provide vital funding in three key areas:

🏅 Team Gear – Equipping student-athletes with the best tools to perform and stay safe.
🥗 Nutrition – Providing the fuel necessary for peak performance and recovery.
✈️ Travel – Ensuring teams can compete at the highest level and represent Cal State Monterey Bay with pride.

"Our student-athletes dedicate themselves to representing Cal State Monterey Bay with integrity and passion," said Kirby Garry, Director of Athletics. "With financial challenges continuing to affect our university, fundraising has never been more important. Every dollar raised helps ensure our teams have the resources they need to succeed both on and off the field."

The 2025 CSUMB Day of Giving is a chance for families, fans, alumni, and supporters to directly impact the success of their favorite teams and invest in the future of Otter Athletics.

Every gift makes a difference! To contribute or learn more about how you can support Otter Athletics, visit the CSUMB Day of Giving website.
