SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team closed out its road portion of its season with a 74-52 loss on Saturday against Cal State San Marcos at the Sports Center.
Cheyanne Whitfield paced CSUMB with 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds, while
Sha'nece Garrett poured in 11 points and posted four boards.
The Otters came out of the gate quickly, shooting over 45-percent in the first two quarters but after the intermission went cold and ended up shooting 35-percent for the game.

THEY'VE GOT NEXT… CSUMB closes out its season with two home games next week. The Otters face Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Feb. 27, and then host Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday for Senior Day.
