SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's water polo team were edged by Biola University, 11-10, on Saturday at the Otter Tank.
The Otters raced out to a 7-5 halftime advantage, but a scoreless third quarter proved to be the difference as the Eagles scored six goals to seize the lead for good.
CSUMB made a comeback in the fourth quarter, holding Biola scoreless and finding the back of the net four times to pull within one, but could not extend the game.

Grace Mensing was credited with 13 saves.
The Otters will return to the pool on Wednesday, March 27, to face UC Davis. First sprint is scheduled for 2 p.m.
