LOS ANGELES - A'ajah Slocum scored a game-high 18 points but it was not enough as the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team fell on the road to Cal State LA, 76-45, Saturday afternoon at the University Gym.
 
Cold shooting proved to be the difference as the Otters posted a 29-percent clip from the floor. The Golden Eagles enjoyed the home cooking and shot 48-percent to claim the victory.
 
Ella Doherty also scored in double-figures, chipping in 12 points and adding seven rebounds.
