Otters Play Cal State San Bernardino to a Scoreless Draw

CSUMB continues defensive prowess

SAN BERNARDINO – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team opened conference play with a scoreless draw against Cal State San Bernardino Friday afternoon at Premier Field.
 
Nylah Mirshafiei recorded six saves en route to earning the shutout - the fifth of the season for the Otters.
 
CSUMB fired off 11 shots and forced four corner kicks. Jaedyn Sanders and Tiger Rendon paced the Otters with two shots apiece.
 
The Otters will face Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, Oct. 6, with kickoff slated for 11:30 a.m.
