SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco State used a 20-point fourth quarter to down the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team, 54-51, Saturday afternoon at the Main Gym at Don Nasser Family Plaza.
Both teams entered the half tied at 31 and then the Otters clamped down to hold the Gators to just three points in the third quarter to take a 41-34 lead. SF State then caught fire in the final period, outscoring CSUMB, 20-10, to earn the comeback win.
Ciarah Michalik paced the Otters with 14 points and added seven rebounds and three steals.
Deyliana Lewis followed with 12 points and grabbed eight boards.

THEY'VE GOT NEXT: The Otters return home for two games next week. CSUMB will open the homestand against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday, Feb. 1, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
