SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team heads to the Inland Empire looking for its first road conference win of the season when it face Cal State San Bernardino Thursday (Feb. 9). The teams will meet in the Coyote Den as water damage has knocked Coussoulis Arena out of commission.

The last time these teams met, the lead changed hands three times in the final five minutes before San Bernardino escaped The Kelp Bed with a 56–52 decision on Dec. 3. The Otters trailed by one with 24 seconds remaining but didn't try to foul. San Bernardino's Destiny Jackson threw up a 3–pointer at the buzzer to account for the final score. Mikayla Mabie led all scorers with 15 points for the Otters. Jackson led the Coyotes with 13.
